In my family, being a "car guy" is generational. With a last name Carr, it was my destiny. My father always had something cool in his garage, I have several projects and now my son has caught the bug. As a 25 year veteran in the car business, I'm driven to share my experiences, my stories, my passion and to encourage others to take time to enjoy the automotive industry for what it was yesterday and where it may be going tomorrow. What drives me is to get my hands in a vehicle and restore it to its former glory. I am endlessly fascinated by the history of a car...where has it been, who has driven it, what roads has it been down. I love to know a car's story. I also love to know the stories of a car's owner...why did they buy it, what memories did they make in the car. Maybe they had their first kiss in the back seat or it broke down at the worst time ever.
